Analysing the needs
MKBS is a Korean skincare shop built around reconnecting with yourself, run by an independent founder. The existing site lacked SEO structure, a consistent user experience and effective levers to support conversions.
The goal was twofold: improve visibility on Google and smooth out the customer journey, while keeping the handcrafted, sensitive soul of the project.
Identifying the issues
The original site, although rich in content, did not meet current standards for organic search, checkout or data analysis.
The back office did not allow precise tracking of user behaviour.
Everything therefore had to be rethought: structure, navigation, internal linking, SEO, analytics, UX/UI… to do justice to the depth of the project while making buying easier.
Solutions
• Writing more than 55,000 optimised words (ingredients, categories, product pages, home and about pages)
• Building a checkout optimised through Google Analytics
• UX advice to improve navigation and the clarity of the message
• Personalised follow-up and support, working closely with the founder, to respect both the technical goals and the sensitive world of the project
The challenge
MKBS is not a shop like any other: it is an embodied brand, with a strong demand for meaning, consistency and gentleness. So we had to build a site that was as technically strong as it was faithful to the DNA of the project.
The main challenge was to combine the founder’s artistic and emotional intuition with strategic choices aimed at conversion and SEO visibility.
The WebOpteam team showed good listening, responsiveness and a teaching approach, evolving the site step by step while respecting its uniqueness.
Final result
Today, MKBS has a site that is SEO-friendly, clear, smooth and suited to its target audience.
The structure is designed for search rankings, emotion and conversion.
Google Analytics tracking and UX tests have significantly improved the checkout, the overall performance of the site and the user experience.
Long-term support is in place to keep evolving with the algorithms… and the dreams.
